This 1997 Land Rover Defender 90 is #041 of a limited number of North American-specification examples that were first delivered to Japan. It features 4.0-liter V8 linked with a 4-speed automatic transmission and full-time 4x4 system with dual-range transfer case. It also has factory installed AC that blows ice cold. The vehicle was built to North American Specifications so it is California emissions legal. Since it was originally imported to Japan, the only difference is that the speedometer and odometer are in kilometers. The odometer reads about 144k kilometers, which is about 89k miles. The car is very clean and rust-free. It is also equipped with power windows, moonroof and rear individual jump seats. It looks great and runs very solid. The original color was Alpine White but it was repainted in Japan to Black. The car has Florida clean title and can be registered anywhere in the US.
